Burns Night

Our January meeting saw the introduction of a Burns Night theme to the Festive Board. The haggis made a dramatic entrance to the majestic sound of the bagpipes at full blast. Our secretary, Mike Batt, dressed in character, then gave the Address to the Haggis, to the delight and rapturous reception of the Brethren. Such was the favourable response to the event that many requested that it become a permanent feature of our January meeting.
